Celebrate Catholic Music at the 2024 Jubilate Series

Jubilate offers a remarkable opportunity for our children to delve into the timeless music of the Church, nurturing a profound appreciation and love for these sacred melodies. Join us for free concerts in Greymouth, Timaru, Ashburton and Christchurch.

It’s a true honor to share music that has resonated through centuries, possibly even sung by saints of old. In addition to these ancient compositions, the 2024 Jubilate music program embraces more contemporary pieces, ensuring a diverse repertoire that we believe will stand the test of time for its enduring beauty.

Jubilate is a unifying force, bringing together singers and musicians throughout our Diocese from May to September. What began with primary school singers in 2016 has expanded to include participants from colleges, parishes, instrumentalists, and enthusiastic audiences, forming a harmonious collective voice.

Under the tutelage of Choir Master Ken Joblin, performances will showcase a rich linguistic tapestry featuring songs in English, Latin, Te reo Māori, Samoan, Tongan, and Tagalog, celebrating our unity in Christ across diverse cultures.

We warmly invite you to a free evening of musical joy. Your presence would enrich our collective experience as we unite in song and spirit.
